For the Hong Kong Festival this year we conducted a Business Seminar in Auckland and Wellington with Mr Peter Nixon, an internationally renowned speaker and business advisor, who has spent over 25 years in Hong Kong. Mr Nixon was invited to New Zealand by HKNZBA and he delivered presentations in both Auckland and Wellington. The attendees were educated, entertained and informed aboutg the future of Hong Kong, its relevance to China and the Pearl River Delta, the Hong Kong business psyche and the risks and opportunities of doing business in Mainland China.
Ms Bonnie Shek, Director, Australia & New Zealand, Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) also travelled from Sydney to speak at our Auckland event. She highlighted the advantages of trading in Hong Kong, and using Hong Kong as a platform to conduct business with China and the wider Asia region. Ms Shek also outlined the services that HKTDC offers to HKNZBA members.
