The Hong Kong Festival marks its 5th Anniversary with a star studded programme of films, expanding to Wellington!
For the very first time, Wellingtonians will be able to celebrate Hong Kong through star studded movies while continuing to celebrate Hong Kong cinema in Auckland through workshops and movies.
“We are delighted to be able to share Hong Kong with Wellingtonians this year,” says Stella Chan, President of the Hong Kong New Zealand Business Association. “We can finally give Wellingtonians what they have been asking for.”
Following the tradition, a collection of student works from Hong Kong academic institutes will be showcased. Works from Auckland-based academic institutes have also been added, a way to support local works and local talents.
