Jacques Meyer is a commercial leader who specialises in hotel sales and marketing strategies with a focus on market growth and developing the next generation of business leaders. During his 20+ year career in hospitality, he has worked at global hotel chains and convention centres in various locations around the world, and has implemented market-beating strategies for businesses across the areas of sales, marketing and communications, revenue management and event sales.
Jacques is the Director of Sales & Marketing at Cordis, Auckland by Langham Hospitality Group where he directs the commercial strategy for New Zealand’s largest hotel. He leads a team of passionate, seasoned professionals who deliver class-leading results across multiple business areas. Prior to joining Langham Hospitality Group, Jacques has worked in the United Kingdom and South Africa with brands like Hilton, IHG and Southern Sun, and in New Zealand with EVT Hotels & Resorts, encompassing local brands QT and Rydges.
He has completed a Master of Business Administration from Winthrop University and also has a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing Management from the University of South Africa.
