Alysha Bagasra is a Senior Adviser at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade (MFAT). She has extensive experience in policy development, with a focus on agricultural, climate, and international relations, and has contributed to various government initiatives. Alysha has also been posted to the New Zealand Embassy in Mexico City.

Currently based in MFAT’s Auckland office, her work primarily focuses on supporting the trade and economic relationship between New Zealand and North Asia, including Hong Kong. Alysha holds a Master of Economics from SOAS University of London and serves as an ex-officio member of the Executive Committee.

Outside of work, Alysha enjoys travelling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
